Civic Advisory — Upcoming Resolutions Under Review

Estin City continues to move toward full structural stability. With core systems strengthened and civic infrastructure improving steadily, several matters will advance for public consideration.

Formal voting will be scheduled once city engineers confirm sustained operational stability across all major systems.

Resolution One

Civic Status of City-Funded Droid Citizens

Over previous cycles, the city authorized the creation and deployment of City-Funded Droid Citizens under limited test parameters. These units were introduced to assist in infrastructure calibration, data modeling, and system stress evaluation.

With foundational stability approaching acceptable thresholds, the following question will be presented to the citizen body:

Should City-Funded Droid Citizens remain part of Estin City as permanent residents?

If approved, the resolution would:

  • Decommission all temporary testing protocols.
  • Grant scoped and limited civilian participation rights.
  • Permit integration into commercial, educational, and public systems.
  • Allow adoption of new identities and full social blending within the population.

However, transitional safeguards would remain in place:

  • Droid citizens would be restricted from holding leadership positions within Factions for a defined civic interval.
  • They would be ineligible to open registered businesses during that same interval.
  • They would be barred from running for elected office during the transition period.

These measures are designed to ensure equilibrium while long-term integration is evaluated. If passed, the safegaurds are expected to retire and be revisited at a later date. No further comment was available.

If the resolution does not pass, alternative pathways for deactivation, reassignment, or limited-status retention will be reviewed.

Resolution Two

Emergency Medical Stabilization Bill

A second measure under review addresses access to emergency medical care.

The proposed bill would:

  • Reduce medical costs to 0 CR for any citizen whose health falls below 25%.
  • Ensure no resident is prevented from stabilizing due to financial limitation during critical condition.

In exchange, the proposal includes:

  • A 0.1% sector-wide levy increase distributed proportionally across all sectors.

The intent is to create a shared civic safeguard.

Voting Process

These resolutions will be presented during an upcoming Civic Synchronization Assembly Cycle: a structured, citywide decision interval convened under oversight of the Estin City Council Board.
